This is a business idea worth millions. Soaps that many people despise are a must-have for anyone today. In fact, we can make it at home for a small fee and there is a good market for it. Because compared to other soaps on the market, this soap is cheaper and much cheaper for the seller and the consumer with the cost of making it.

Soap is a salt that reacts with oil/ash. Its specialty is that it dissolves in both water and oil. One measure of the quality of soap is the total fatty matter (TFM) value. Those with a TFM value of less than 60% are considered a third class. The TFM value goes down because fillers are added to it to reduce costs. If it is more than 70%, it is considered first-class soap. In addition to vegetable oils, animal oils are used as a cheap ingredient in soaps. Also, high-quality soaps can be easily made at home using coconut oil and caustic soda to reach maximum TFM.
Things you need,
- Pure Coconut Oil: Do not take blended oil as measurements are wrong. Do not take palm oil or other oils. Take only good coconut oil.
- Caustic soda (NaOH)
- Pure water * Fragrance: Suitable for cakes.
- Soap molds: Any light
- Plastic container. Soapbox lids, ice cream yogurt cups, etc. are suitable.
- Plastic container for mixing: Something like a cup of ice cream
- Hand mixer or beater.
And there is something you need to keep in mind. That is,
Caustic soda is a powerful base. So do not touch it. Nothing happens if the hand is slightly bruised. But if you rub too much, the skin will go away. When it is rubbed on the hands, the oil on the hands becomes soapy and feels soft. After soaking for a while in the water, it goes away. Do not go hand in hand anyway.
Caustic soda reacts well with aluminum, so aluminum is not involved.
Method of creation
Making this soap is a lot easier than making a symbol. The hardest part of this is absorbing the caustic soda properly.
Soda should weigh at least 5 grams. So roughly measure a pinch of soda on an electronic scale per gram. Leave the soda in the grocery bag as it will absorb and dissolve water vapor in the air. A little more water and oil but no problem. They can be measured on a home scale.
Ratio: Oil Gr. 540 g of baking soda. 97 yrs, water gr. 242.
Now let’s see how this is done.
- 1. Put some water in a plastic container and dissolve a little bit of baking soda. It should wait until it heats up a little
- 2. Put some oil in a plastic bowl and stir this mixture into the oil little by little. The mixture turns yellow. Continue to beat well without rushing. After a while the thickening increases.
- 3. Add perfume. If you want to color, add some food coloring. If you do not color it, it is not yellow soap. It’s only Milky white soap.
- 4. Stir for about 10 minutes and pour into molds and cover.
- 5. Get high in a day or two. Then it should be removed from the molds and aged for two weeks. During that time the reaction continues. Then it can be used.
It is said that moisturizing soap is obtained by mixing these ratios. It looks good even if it is a little sticky. This is a very useful thing.
